This e-medicine Internet Applications System is designed to be a web support for telemedicine and associated activities carried out in the frame of the Fundeni Telemedicine Pilot and the Excellence Center for Space Applications in Medicine and Human Biological Welfare.  
  Telemedicine Activities and Continuous Medical Education are assisted by professional applications in medicine and related fields and by information for general education aiming the public awareness increase.  
  The e-medicine Internet Applications System is initiated in the frame of projects developed under the Space Applications Branch of the National R&D Program "AEROSPATIAL".  
  Project partners co-funding support the development.  
  The OnlineSolutions Consortium care for the global design and Caligraf srl Company is the main contractor and art design architect. The specific professional development is made within a fruitful interdisciplinary cooperation with medicine, human sciences and information technology specialists.  
  During the projects operation time the e-medicine Internet Applications System is managed and hosted by the developing Consortium. At the conclusion of current projects, the whole web application context will be transferred in the management, hosting and development coordination of the Excellence Center for Space Applications in Medicine and Human Biological Welfare.  
     
  The current version of the e-medicine Internet Applications System is designed and optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 with minimum visual interface requirements of 800x600 pixel resolutions and 24-bit color depth. The special multimedia applications and available educational documents could require specific plug-in's, available on the web.
